LOCATION: The location of all BLS courses is Westerville Community UCC located at 770 County Line Rd, Westerville, OH 43081. Free parking is available in the adjacent lot. Enter through the front entrance and follow the signs to the classroom. Restrooms are available for your class. Food and beverage is not available at this location but feel free to bring your own.
CLASS LENGTH: Students will spend on average, 90 minutes working through the online portion of the course. Your in person skill’s session will last approximately 1-2 hours.
BLENDED LEARNING: After completing your registration, you will receive a separate link to complete the ONLINE portion of this class. The ONLINE portion of this blended learning class MUST be completed before arriving to the class.
WHAT TO BRING: A pocket mask will be provided to you as part of your course registration. This item is yours to keep for use during the class and for use after you earn your certification! Be sure to bring a pen/pencil to class. If you like to take notes, be sure to bring paper or a small notebook. Food & beverages are permitted to be brought into the class. There are not food and drink available for purchase at the class location.
HANDBOOKS: Handbooks are no longer necessary to complete the course. Loaned handbooks will be available for reference during the class. Links will be provided to complimentary digital handbooks after your class. If you would like to purchase a handbook to take home, you may do so at the end of your class.
